VIDEO WITH ANA WORKING ON CERAMICS

Ana working on ceramics at our home and atelier near Sesimbra. This piece and others will be exhibit later as soon as we are in possession of a space in the lower part of the city of Setúbal, just a few kilometers from Lisbon, a space that we will transform into a small art and creative craft gallery.

LET IT SNOW - ANA IN THE UK

The short video below was taken this morning when it started to snow in the village where she is living and working in the UK.
She will be here again next April and will be with me at the opening of our small but friendly space for art and creative crafts in Setúbal (well, in the hope that everything will go well because the bureaucracy in Portugal is a real nightmare).

ALGUMAS MUDANÇAS NO NOSSO BLOG (Some changes in our blog)

ENGLISH VERSION:

We are restructuring our blog in order to include not only the arts but also creative crafts, especially in the area of Ceramics in which we have been working for over 30 years. In the mid-eighties of the previous century, we were in the Algarve (South of Portugal), where we held several exhibitions in our studio/art gallery. We were represented in the book "Art Directory Portugal / Spain" published in Spain and Portugal.

Unfortunately, we currently do not have a large collection of pieces because, throughout that period (from 1986 until today), our works have been acquired by several private collectors in various parts of the World, namely in the United States, Germany, Austria, England and others countries and almost all in the period between 1991 and 1998..

However, we will exhibit here the pieces that we still have with us and those in which we have analog photos of them, in addition to those that we have been executing more recently, either by Ana Santos or Carlos Martins, the artists responsible for this space.

We are also restructuring our page in order to adapt it to a possible new reality, which consists of the acquisition of a space in the city of Setúbal, intended to exhibit our work and in some cases to hold art exhibitions with other artists, national and international, who have already expressed their support for participating in various exhibitions and other future initiatives. We, therefore, received with great sympathy and friendship the contributions already mentioned by Janice Hathaway and Richard Misiano-Genovese (USA), Veronica Cabanillas (Peru) and Rodrigo Mota do Brasil.
